Beatrice Stanley, Chairman

Violinist Beatrice Stanley from 1968-1995 was a member of Houston Musicians Local 65 during which time she was Concert-Master Houston Grand Opera, Baytown Symphony, Galveston Symphony, and a member of Houston Symphony. 1994 - 2012 she performed on the Millennium Strings in Upstate New York performing the following: Bach Ciaconna from d minor Partita for Solo Violin, Bartok #2 Sonata for violin and piano Beethoven #7, #8 and #9 Sonatas for piano and violin, Brahms d Sonata for piano and violin, Strauss Sonata, Ives #2 Sonata, Ravel Sonata, Chausson Poeme, Bloch Poeme Mystique for Violin and Piano, Prokofieff #1 Sonata

Concertos performed in public with orchestral Accompaniment: Wieniawski Concerto #2, Brahms’ Violin Concerto , Soloist in 4 violin Vivaldi Concerto in b minor involving former concertmasters of Baytown Symphony, Mozart Symphonie Concertante , Zigeunerweisen – Sarasate, Navarra – Sarasate Concerto in g – Bruch, Concerto in D – Beethoven, Concerto in d for 2 violins – Bach

  • 1970-present: Very large class of private violin students
  • 2005 Voted Teacher of the Year by Houston Music Teacher’s Association
  • 2010-present Chairman Houston Young Artists’ Concert
  • Many of Beatrice Stanley's former students are now teaching and performing around the world.
